Since 2008, WAH has been gathering women together to discuss careers, ideas and how we made it. The first WAH Power Lunch was at the ICA gallery, since then they've been held all over London and featured a host of female entrepreneurs who share their story.
The tech industry has revolutionised the beauty world, in the way consumers and manufacturers, buy, interact and promote brands and products. The mobile application market is worth £25bn and continues to grow. Beauty apps are becoming extremely popular, but can be a costly addition to your business model, if you are not aware of the right process or expertise needed to execute your technology. In the May edition of the WAH Power Lunch, our panel aims to tackle you’re frequently asked questions about building your own a beauty technology, such as: What expertise am I paying for and how will they create the app? How much does it cost to build beauty technology? Is there any legislation to follow? What are the best features to include for a beauty app?
Join us for the WAH Power Lunch ( not literally a Lunch), to hear from leaders in the world of beauty. WAH Power lunch will be hosted by the Founder of WAH Nails London, Sharmadean Reid MBE.
A gathering of co-workers or of mostly young male corporate douches (see yuppies) for a 3 hour lunch on the clock that includes such things as a motorcade of Lexus and BMW automobiles, motivational speakers, cheers, steak, and talk about something like the “bottom line” or bonuses or something. Supposedly a motivational event, but usually turns out to be a feast of gluttony and ruined neckties. Newly motivated and encouraged participants are expected to go back to the office and make phone calls and fire off emails and achieve results, but most usually end up at a local boozer and get tanked before happy hour even starts.
