Two separate Summers of Love have formed the cultural context of IMMERGE.

The first, in 1967 in California, was an era where seminal artists such as James Turrell, Victor Moscoso and Frank Stella summed up the aesthetic of the creative landscape.

The second in Britain in 1988, was centred around acid house and rave subculture, giving new life to a disengaged youth. IMMERGE was born on the bridge between the art and music from two different decades, connected by one thing; experimentation.
